FOUNDER/DIRECTOR
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of GA. I have a passion for helping people heal from life’s difficulties which can interfere with the pursuit of a happy life. Though some therapeutic techniques prove more helpful than others, the findings demonstrate that therapy is most helpful when you feel understood and supported by your therapist. I want to support my clients in their growth journey.
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from Kennesaw State University and a Master’s of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Richmont Graduate University. I am certified as a PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator which allows me to assess and help couples identify their relationship strengths, gain understanding about the underlying dynamics that influence their communication, and then help couples develop skills to improve their growth areas.
I have experience working in a variety of settings including in-home therapy, in-patient hospitalization program and out-patient private practice providing therapeutic services to individuals, families and couples.
As a counselor, I believe that clients need a safe, non-judgmental and confidential environment in which they can explore the thoughts and feelings that are causing them pain.
I use an eclectic approach when working with my clients including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory and Brief Solution Focused.
